I was adopted at 6 days old in the lower mainland of British Columbia. I have met my mother‚ her name was Sharon. I have not met my father‚ but have been told his name is Brian. As far as I know both were in Calgary‚ AB. My mother was from a fairly religious family and went to visit her sister during her pregnancy and I was born in British Columbia. My mother returned to Calgary after I was born. I met her when I turned 18. It was a private adoption‚ the person who arranged it was named Gwen (last name possibly Nelson)‚ who I've been told has since passed away. I did my DNA‚ I'm 54% Norwegian (mother's side)‚ 42% British or Irish (father's side)
