I was adopted at birth and was given to understand that my birth mother was of Swedish descent, something I was able to confirm by doing a 23andme DNA test. Other than that I really have no knowledge about my birthparents, but I do know that my birth father was not acknowledged. I was born in Vancouver General Hospital, and my birth name was Judith Phyllis Fredrickson. On the legal papers a person named Elizabeth Birkeland swore an affidavit that the natural mother gave consent to the adoption.
