I was taken away at birth at southmead hospital and was placed in an emergency foster home as a ward of court. All I know is or should I say have been told is that my birth parents both had schizophrenia and were not well enough to keep me. I had been told they were at Bristol Barrow Gurney hospital back in the 80s whether this is true I do not know. I was told that my mum was at uni and was under a lot of stress and got her self in a bad way. I do not know ans understand why her oarents didn’t help or support her?! I was told they had well to do careers or something other so I take that as that was more important to them?! My birth mum would have been early to mid 30s when she had me or that again is what I have been told. I’ve always wanted to know the truth but More than ever I want to find them and the truth to what happened now I am pregnant and alone with only my sister supporting and understanding me.
