My name is Fran and I was born in Camberwell, London Oct 1967. My birth mother is called Hilary (born in November 1941) and she also was adopted. My ancestry DNA shows that I have a lot of Irish heritage (as well as African - I’m mixed race) which indicates that Hilary was of Irish heritage too. She was adopted by a family called Burt in 1942 in Worthing, Sussex. In 1971 I was adopted by a family who live in Bristol. I have used an intermediary and had limited contact with Hilary, but she did not want to continue with any further contact. I know she is married and has two sons, Martin and Stephen. She lives in Henley on Thames in the UK. I am hoping to find who my birth grandparents were or any related family - probably from Ireland. It would be lovely to find either of my half brothers too.
