Hello everyone‚ I’m trying to find my biological grandfather and grandmother. My father was adopted as a newborn in a hospital in São Paulo‚ Brazil. From what I know‚ his biological mother left him at the hospital shortly after he was born. My grandparents‚ who raised him with love and are the only grandparents I have ever known‚ adopted him. Unfortunately‚ the nurse reportedly tore up his original birth record‚ and a new birth certificate was issued with a different name and even a different date of birth. Because of that‚ we are not even sure of his real birth date. That is all the information I have. I can’t ask my father or my grandparents many questions because this is a very sensitive subject for our family. My grandparents gave my father all the love‚ care‚ and opportunities he could have asked for‚ and I know this topic makes them sad. My father also says he has no interest in looking for his biological family because‚ in his words‚ his real parents are the ones who raised him‚ and he feels that nobody ever came looking for him. Even so‚ I would love to learn more about our family’s history and discover who my biological grandparents are. Any advice‚ suggestions‚ or guidance would mean a lot to me. Thank you very much
