My grandmother was adopted when she was 10 in Brazil by a white family that lived in California. She begged them to go back to get her younger sister who was a baby from the adoption center‚ and they did. All I know is that she had a couple other siblings‚ but they were split up. A sister went to stay with the biological mother’s family. And the brother was sent to an all boys adoption center. The last name of the father was Dosantos. Her mother had died when she was about 3/4‚ and the kids were then left with the father. They eventually all ended up separated because the father could not provide proper child care.
