Hello! My name is Joselice Maria Da Silva and I am searching for my birth parents. I was adopted with my birth sister‚ Maria Aparecida da Silva‚ who also is looking for you both. I was born on June 12‚ 1981 and Maria was born on September 30‚ 1982. The Brazilian Court which handled our adoption and which would have any additional information in their arquives‚ if any exists is the Jundiai. The full name is Juizo de Direito da 39 Vara Criminal e de Menores da Comarca de Jundiai. My process number is 666/83. Our mother's name is Cicera Maria Da Silva. No father is listed on the birth certificates. Our maternal grandparents are Valdemar Simao Da Silva and Maria Paulina Da Silva are listed. I was born in the city of Belo Jardim‚ Pernambuco state and my birth was registered in Sao Paulo. My sister was born in the city of Sao Paulo‚ Jabaquara district. Since my birth date is 1981 and the birth was registered in 1983‚ I would assume that my mother migrated from the Northeast of Brazil (Pernambuco) to Sao Paulo between 1981 and 1983. At that time‚ there was a terrific drought in the Northeast and millions of 'nordestinos' moved to Sao Paulo to find work and many of them stayed there. The only additional information I have is that my birth mother was very young when she gave us up. I do not have any negative feelings towards either of them and I only hope that they are doing well!
