Looking for the biological mother and father’s relatives of my grandmother Violet May (Molly) Holiway. Born to Annie Holiway 17th May 1916 at 28 Hansen St Wellington New Zealand. We do not know if the bio-mother’s name is her real name or an alias. She is listed as being aged 22 at the time of the birth and from Auckland. Through the Ancestry website we think we have identified Violet’s biological father as Richard Thomas Polglase (1874-1929). We have hit a dead-end with Violet’s biological mother however. Violet was adopted by members of the Salvation Army Church from Christchurch NZ‚ Francis Arthur Huston & Ellis Mary Butterick. We think Violet was adopted at around age 7 but we don’t know for sure.
