Fayetteville‚ Arkansas. Father of child is Kenneth Collins. He was taken by DHS and kept from his entire family. Mother was hiding from father of child due to threats of harming her and child. They were hiding at a house someone had brought her to trying to help. She wasn’t from Arkansas and didn’t know anyone. She met a woman named Amy Darnelle and this woman promised to try and help her hide from the violent and abusive father. Miss Darnelle tried to contact many people at that time but wasn’t able to get in touch with anyone‚ myself included. So‚ once Kenneth Collins reached the state of Arkansas‚ he contacted Miss Rodgers and informed her he was near and stated count down began till her last breath. Miss Darnelle had met a man not to long before threw an acquaintance and decided to stop by his house to see if they could stay there till they could contact someone who could help and house her and child till a more permanent and safe solution could be found. Unknowing that the man’s house they were at was unsafe due to illegal activity. The local police then went and searched this man’s house while they were there. The police found illegal substances on the property. Do to this the child was taken from mother who was trying to escape from a dangerous and unsafe situation to protect her child. DHS from day one treated her like she was a low and unworthy animal who didn’t deserve her child. She was kept from him the entire time he was in DHS hands. They neglected her of the right to visit with him. Lied to about what was happening while he was in their supervision. They went behind her back and started putting him up for adoption. She was promised video chat visits with him weekly and not given them on many different occasions. The final decision in court was to strip her of all her rights to the child as his birthmother and ripped away with no thoughts or concerns of damage. She had a lawyer who she was sent to by one of the People she had met through this horrible experience. The lawyer didn’t do much at all to help her. Once it was to late to try and change this situation around information that the case worker for her son and the mother of child lawyer were actually friends. That in itself is not legal‚ I believe it’s called conflict of interest. Alyssa Rodgers now is suffering from major depression and has become unhealthy do to all this.
