I am seeking information about my father’s biological mother. He was adopted at birth by Walter Don and Doris L. Shoptaw in Benton‚ AR (1954) I know that his biological mother stayed with my grandparents for a short period of time prior to his birth. She was from another city in Arkansas and was the mother of other children prior to my father’s birth. My grandparents welcomed her into their home and they were present at the time of his birth. I know that he has half siblings‚ one of whom was born to same biological mother in 1955-56. My grandparents were contacted about adopting this half sibling.
