See above. The teenage mother was pregnant and was sent "away to school" during her pregnancy. When it was time for me to be born, she returned to her parents in Little Rock, Arkansas and had me at the old St. Vincent’s Hospital. My adoptive parents already had a plan in place through their physician (who I’m guessing was the teenager’s physician as well) because the moment I was born, I was handed to my adoptive mother and stayed with her in the hospital for the required time under the care of the same physician who delivered me (Dr. Lamar McMillan). I’m assuming the teenage girl just went home with her parents when she was released. My birth certificate shows my parents as the actual parents. No further contact with the teenage girl or her family. My parents are listed on my birth certificate as the natural parents.
