Hello to whomever reads this.... I was adopted when I was just four days old through a private adoption. I was born at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock‚ Arkansas. This was a time when a group of nuns ran the hospital. I think I was born in the morning. Gerry and Mary Ann Brown were anxiously awaiting the phone call after my arrival. The Doctor who brought me into the world from my birth mother was a Dr. Stewart Allen. I was fortunate enough to meet him later in my adult life‚ which is still to this day‚ one of the most incredible moments of my life. (He has since passed away.) I have an older brother and slightly younger sister. (We are 8 months and 4 days apart. We are the same age from December 8th until April 4th of the following year - quite a conversation starter!) We let folks stir a bit with that information before we explain my having been adopted...fun for us! My mother was able to give me a tid bit of information about my "birth parents". She told me they were both very young and not married. Probably teenagers. That’s all I know so far.
