At the time of the adoption I gave the agency a book with photos and a letter for him to read from me. For the first part of the year his mother and I exchanged letters talking about him and how he was doing. She shared photos with me. She was a nurse and her husband was a minister I believe. At the end of the first year she told me she was pregnant. I was so excited for the family and realized I needed to let go so they could enjoy life and not have to worry about me always being there. I know this was the best decision for my son‚ but the hardest thing I have ever done in my life..... .Still to this day.
