My husband is looking for biological relatives and records for his great‚ great grandfather‚ Henry Arthur Neil. He was born August 31‚ 1894. We do not know what his birth last name was. His adoptive last name was Neil. While he was alive‚ Henry acknowledged he was adopted. He always maintained he was born in Colorado. We do have some records verifying this statement. He has a delayed birth certificate‚ issued by the state of Arizona‚ (Tucson‚ Pima‚ AZ) with false information on it. There is also a false affidavit that was submitted to the court in Arizona. His adoptive parents were Thomas Neil and Abaigail Groat. We do not know if he was adopted in Colorado or was shipped to an orphanage in Arizona and adopted out of there. He lived in Tucson‚ Arizona until 1942 when he moved to Los Angeles‚ California. Records show he was living in Norwalk‚ California in 1960. From there‚ the trail goes cold. There is no known date of death for Henry at this time.
