the legality of my adoption is questionable and the people who raised me lived with other families in a religious type cult and moved around a lot. They would have taken advantage of another vulnerable family, single mother maybe, young parent/s, possibly with Native roots or other ethnic groups but not sure. My birth was labeled home birth and registered late in 1983, but birth certificate says 1980. Mary Ball (midwife out of flagstaff) was the signing midwife, but she is unwilling to talk and I don’t know why, maybe because she was not licensed at the time to be delivering babies or it was falsified? It says I was born in Flagstaff area.... but no medical records exist and I do not know that for sure. The situation is very strange and I was not born in a traditional hospital so it is hard to say. If you did not go through an adoption agency or had a home birth and this sounds familiar, please reach out. Parental name who raised me Ron & Rene Hinton. Ron mostly headed up religious group.....I could have come from anywhere and that is just the place they came back to register my birth possibly. They had formed groups in California, Oregon but like I said, could have come from anywhere. I was not born in a hospital that is for certain. I just ordered my DNA ancestor kit 10/15/2020.
