My spouse found out when he was in his 30’s that his father who raised him was not his biological father. It came as a shock when we searched for his mother ( who walked out on him and his father when my spouse was 12 years old) and we found her and she told us that he was adopted. Since this finding 12 years ago, my spouse has had such a hard time dealing with this and decided not to confront his father about it. His father was killed a few years ago and there has not been closure and regret of not telling him he knew. I would also like to know for our two children. We would appreciate any help!
