Looking for my Husbands son. Brandon Craig Mabus. He was Adopted in Mesa Az through the LDS church. My Husband‚ Mark Craig Mabus was 17 at the time of Brandon’s birth and Brandon’s mother made Mark do a closed adoption. Brandon has a full-blood sister who was born 2008‚ a father who never wanted to give him up‚ and myself (stepmom) who would love to know him and meet him. Since this was a closed adoption in Az‚ we can not contact them directly. Mark’s side of the family wrote tons of letters for Brandon when he turns 18. I am hoping the adoptive parents will give him these letters! I am so grateful for the adoptive parents that kept Brandon safe and gave him the life he deserved! We received full custody of his sister when she was 4 years old. I cannot have children of my own and my stepdaughter is my true blessing in life. It hurts to think we also have a son out there that we didn’t get to have in our lives as well. Brandon‚ Please know your Farther never wanted to give you up! You have a bonus family here in Az who thinks about you often‚ a full blood sister who wishes daily she had siblings‚ and a bonus stepmom who always wanted a son.
