I am searching for my brother who was given up for adoption shortly after he was born during 1966. Month and day is unknown. The mother’s name on the birth certificate should be Nancy Jane (Donaldson) Wright (married name) or Nancy Jane Lightfoot (Donaldson). The mother was born on November 21, 1933, to Thornton and Velma Donaldson. Birthplace is Bronxville, NY. The adopted brother was born in Phoenix, AZ, possibly at Good Samaritan Hospital. The Father of the adopted boy is unknown and chances are his name is not listed on the birth certificate. If it is, his name would be: Harold Melvin Lightfoot. My mother had 7 children (adopted boy included). 3 older siblings know who their father is, me and my 2 younger siblings each have individual fathers. Two of us have no idea who the father is. My Mother, Nancy, died in 1998. We found out about the adopted boy when we were going through my mothers letters to my grandmother. Very few details are available to us. My sister, the oldest of 7, remembers that my mother came home from the hospital after giving birth to the adopted boy and and said to my 3 older siblings that the baby had died during child birth.
