I was given a letter to me written to me by my birth mother. I was supposed to get it when I turned 18 but stumbled upon it sooner. She expressed joy and remorse for having to give me up. She also asked for my forgiveness and understanding. And spoke of one day possibly finding her. I no longer have the letter. But I remember how it read. I also know that my mother was into playing the guitar and writing music. I know she was a Christian woman. I dream of someday finding and meeting her.
