This is the info my birthmother gave me thru the years, (accuracy may be an issue...not sure how good her recall is): my birthfather’s name is Larry Dean Gray. Redhead. Has ties to Sanger, CA. Vietnam Vet-Marines. Went back volutarily for 2nd tour. Contracted malaria. Met my birthmother (Kathy Ann Todd) in Austin in 1973. I was born Fawn Heather Gray (Todd) in Tucson, AZ on September 22, 1974 at which time my birthfather was incarcerated in AZ State Prison in Florence, AZ for burglary (?). My birthmother took me (at age 13 months) and left my birthfather. As far as I know there was no further contact between my birth parents. My birthmother gave me away to the State of Arizona in 1981 when I was 7 years old, I was in 2 foster homes and adopted in 1982 at age 8 and my adoptive parents made me change my full name (& my social security number) so IF my birthfather has ever tried to find me he would never be able to because he has no way of knowing my legal name, which is actually different from my adopted name. It is very complicated but to sum it up, I NEED to find my birthfather for medical history information, I am only 43 but I am struggling with a few illnesses and having the other half of my bio family’s medical information would be a tremendous help, plus to be quite honest, I yearn to look at someone who really looks like me. I have since found my birthmother (in 1992 when I was 17) but I do not even remotely resemble any of the women on that side of my family. I have seen a couple photos of my birthfather and I truly do look SO much like him! And according to my birthmother I act a whole lot like him too. He doesn’t even know that he has 2 grown grandsons too....Taylor, 23 and Cory, 21 who both live in central Texas, near Austin, a place that he at least used to be familiar with. PLEASE HELP ME FIND HIM!!!!!!!!
