I was born in Salinas, California with my birth name being Steven Francis Slattery. My mother, Katherine 1911- 06/14/1965, then moved to KS with me and married somebody else. She had to wait 6 months for the divorce to be final so she and my stepdad lived in Arizona before moving to KS. I don’t know where my adoption took place—Arizona, California, or KS. My stepdad legally adopted me after marrying my mother, so I was raised by my biological mother and stepdad. I have no idea what my biological dad’s name is, but I do know he died in the 1960’s. I just want to know what he died of and if I relatives that I don’t know about. He was never discussed when I was growing up, so the mystery continues.
