Star and Larry were the adopting parents which I chose as they were so kind and loving‚ nothing I experienced as a child. My name is Shauna and named my beautiful daughter Shelby. As a gift to me‚ Star and Larry said they would keep that as her middle name. I’m from BC and had to travel to Alberta to put her up for adoption as I was only 18 and didn’t need parental consent. The hospital was Mineral Springs Hospital in Banff and the physician was Dr. Jane Fowke. I wanted to make sure she had a better life that myself.
