I was born with the name Damien Anthony on June 29‚ 1977‚ in Edmonton‚ Alberta. It is unclear to me whether Damien Anthony was my first and middle name‚ or first and last name. My name was changed post adoption. Looking for any possible family‚ mostly for information. I have very little information regarding my adoption at this point. I was told my biological father was of Italian ancestry‚ was born in Italy and was involved in real estate (occupation was listed as Real Estate Salesman)‚ and was interested in cooking‚ fishing‚ and soccer‚ most likely in Edmonton. Physically‚ he was described as 5’11” tall‚ approximately 150 lbs. He was 24 at the time of my adoption. The information also stated he had two brothers and one sister. My biological mother was a cashier‚ and may have also been a hairdresser‚ but I’m unsure of this. Her ancestry is described as being Scottish/German. She is described as being about 5’7” tall‚ and roughly 170 lbs. She is also described as enjoying outdoor pursuits‚ such as motorbiking‚ crafts‚ and someone who loves hair cutting. She had one sister‚ and the rest of her family is described as being artistically and musically inclined. She was 21 at the time of my adoption. I was born in Edmonton (June 29‚ 1977 as stated) Alberta‚ adopted out of Edmonton‚ mid-July of 1977‚ I believe. I was adopted less than one year after my birth. I have no ill will towards my biological parents or any subsequent family‚ I simply would like the information on what was the reason behind my adoption‚ and also to ask about family health history.
