Looking for Baby Girl (Niece) born likely in the first 2 weeks of January 1966 in the Miserecordia Hospital‚ Edmonton Alberta Canada. We know the Mother checked out of the hospital on January 13‚1966 I believe the adoption was handled by the Sisters of St. Francis R.C. Order of Nuns at the time. The placement was likely Alberta but we cannot be sure about this either. The birth Mother was 28 years of age at the time of birth and I believe the child was baptized with a given name starting with an M. Mother’s surname was Scherger (now passed away) on birth certificate but not certain). I have no information on the adoption but I do have personal information for this adoptee and would be willing to meet or make contact respectfully on terms specified by the adoptee if so desired (Discretion assured if a concern).
