My twin and I were named Deidre(female) and Daniel(male). We were born in Lethbridge, Alberta June 27th, 1952. The adoption records state that our birth mother was Joan Dorothy Simpson born Jan 15, 1932 and was from the Edmonton, Alberta area. Our birth father was 23 when we were born but only said he had two sisters, no name was given. Not sure if our mother’s name is correct as it states that she did not want her family to know of her condition. Ancestry DNA shows Johnston and Martin surnames as second cousins or closer.
