My mother who was adopted recently passed away. I’m going thru her things I have found her adoption information and am now compelled to try and connect with her birth mom and possibly father. Peggy Carlson gave birth to Cheryl Lee on January 19 1963 in Calgary Alberta. Cheryl was adopted by Myrna and Ron Olshaski of Lethbridge Alberta and her name was changed to Brenda Lee. She had an older brother‚ who was also Peggy Carlsons son‚ that was adopted by the same family earlier but I’m not sure on the details. Her birth mother’s name was Peggy Eileen Carlson ( listed as Margaret Maunder in later paperwork‚ I assume her married name) her birth date listed was 06/24/41. She had at least 1 younger brother and 2 much younger step brothers. Her parents divorced‚ her father was a forest ranger and her mother was a house wife and remarried. The address listed on the birth record is Lincoln Drive Calgary‚AB but had previous addresses of Airdrie‚Banff‚ Cochrane‚ Swan Hills‚ Vancouver BC and Dawson Creek BC. Her birth father is listed as Lyle Pearson from Dawson Creek‚ BC area. He was listed as a truck driver and aged 25 at the time of my mother’s birth with at least 1 brother and 1 sister.
