I was born June 30‚ 1962 in Edmonton‚ Alberta. Adopted by Peter & Emily Kostiuk of Lamont‚ Alberta. The name I was given by them is Jacqueline Wendy Marie Kostiuk. They were the best parents ever but I’ve always wondered about my birth parents and if I had siblings‚ etc. When I was about 10 or 12 years old‚ I found some papers on my adoption. My birth mother was 17 years old and Ukrainian and a student nurse. My birth father was 18 years old and Irish and in the Army. When I showed these papers to my mom‚ she hid them so good that to this day they’ve never been found again. She thinks she threw them away. That’s all I remember about being adopted but if my birth parents are still alive or if I ever had siblings and they are alive‚ I would love to meet them. Know some history (medical & heritage)
