I was born in Red Deer on June 23, 1970 and my birth name was David James Hansen, although on AncestryDNA I have a distant match with a Hanson so it makes me wonder if the name on my birth certificate is inaccurate or if it’s just a coincidence. My birth father I was told (on my adoption records) was Nick Ravnsborg whom i think lives in Ponoka, AB. My birth mother’s first name I don’t recall from the records but last name was Hansen. For the record, I don’t feel bitter and as I turned 50 this year was more so curious about birth family. Thank you!
