My father was adopted from Alaska, he left when I was six months old and I found him when I turned 13. We are estranged from each other. I’ve always wanted to learn about my heritage but I’ve never been able to ask him for permission to find out about my birth grandparents or where they may have been from. I am on a journey to learn about my history and about where I belong.
