Kendra Kay Lawton born in Anchorage‚ Alaska at the Community Hospital at 9th and L Streets. Adopted by Al and Paula Lawton of Soldotna‚ Alaska in 1968 shortly after birth. Al and Paula ran a motel or rented out rooms in 1968 according to a letter sent to our mom‚ Lillian Kay Durand. Possible older sibling/relative Susie (not blood related) mentioned in the same letter. Lillian tried at least once to locate Kendra via 1-800-US-SEARCH on 7/27/1998. Lillian passed away 5/8/24. I’ve been going through her photos and letters in hopes of finding out more about Kenda‚ but there isn’t much to go on. I know it pained Lillian to give Kendra up. I’m hoping Kendra is out there and would like to connect.
