My name is Paul and I am searching for my birth mother. I was released to the state of Alabama and in foster care after birth and was officially adopted at approximately 18-24mnths of age. I was born in Jefferson County, Alabama on October 22, 1985 and my original name after birth on my birth certificate was Paul Edward Cherry. I just recently requested my "sealed file" from the state of alabama and was given a copy of my original birth certificate prior to adoption, but there is not much to go by. No father listed, and mother was approximately 22 (i think) during time of birth. I am hoping to find any connection that will get me closer to the truth of who I am and where I originally come from.
