My mother was born in Florence alabama July 5‚1961‚ according to info we received on her biological family she had older brothers and sisters‚ her mother also placed another child‚ a boy‚ a year or two after 1961up for adoption‚ he was born at the same hospital. Family was in farming and father or grandfather was a truck driver. Info also stated mother had been married 3 times. My mother was placed into an orphanage and was adopted around 6 mths of age. She passed July 19 2012 never knowing her biological family but always wondering even though she had wonderful parents and grew up in a loving home never wanting for anything other than knowing where she came from. I too need to know where our biological family is‚ being she (my mother) was adopted that is my family that I know nothing of‚ where we came from‚ who we take after‚ in depth health info etc. My mother Rebecca Elizabeth Carpenter grew up in Birmingham Al. (Roebuck area) was born at the only hospital in Florence Al. In 1961 and has a brother that was placed for adoption a year or two after. Thank u for any help.
