My sister’s birth name was Luna Wynter Nelson. Our mother never informed me of her until I discovered a newspaper article about Luna being placed for adoption‚ I found the article a year after it was posted in the Auburn Newspaper. When I messaged our mother about her and questioned our relation to each other‚ she confirmed that Luna is my half sister and that I also have another sister named Avery‚ whom is a year older than Luna. Both Luna and Avery have the same biological father. They are both my biological maternal half-siblings. I just want to make sure they are both safe‚ happy‚ and healthy. I was adopted by our maternal grandparents‚ and our biological mother was not involved with me during my childhood‚ nor with my general life now. I do not communicate with her often‚ and I only message her for information regarding new siblings I may have gained. She will not be made aware of any contact I may potentially begin to have with my sisters.
