I am seeking my mother's biological parents. She was adopted through Tennessee Children's Home. Her adoptive name was Lavalla Elizabeth Sarver but her birth name may have been Alice Boulding (name on DeCree of Adoption but may have been Bolding. I have a Decree of Adoption dated April 1st 1917. The court of adoption happened in Limestone county ‚ Athens Al. Her adoptive parents were Charles Sarver and LaValla Fuller Sarver. She was born in Tennessee‚ also her adoptive parents were. I am assuming birth parents were from Tennessee or Alabama. Stories are she had a sister which was disabled and maybe a couple of brothers‚ something about a train ride and not sure if it was to take her to be adopted or parents gave her up because they couldn't afford to raise all the children. The last name is up in the air‚ don't really know what it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
