I have heard rumors of having a sister that my mother gave up for adoption since I was a young adult in my early 20's. My mother never willingly brought it up to me so I never had the nerve to ask and I wish that I had. The story I have been told recently is that my mother got pregnant and the father did not want to be involved‚ nor did his parents. So my grandparents arranged for her to go to a convent/orphanage in mobile‚ Alabama. She gave birth to a daughter‚ and that is all that I know. My mother's name was Linda Stacy.
