A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Norway Who Chose To Be Featured
1. Natalya-Debranska : My name is Debranska Natalya. I am from Lviv, Ukraine (Soviet Union in 1988). I am searching my daughter who was born in the end of February, 1988. It was a healthy baby though born 2 months before the term (I was on the seventh month of pregnancy when I delivered a child). In three days doctors inforned me that the child died though I was not shown the body. At that time the police discovered a great criminal affair connected with selling babies abroad for adoption. All I know is that the date of birth of my child was changed and that she was adopted in one of the European countries.
5. CasaSuprNova : My grandmother, S.H., gave birth to a girl some time before 1949. My mother is ashamed to talk about it. Story goes that an american officer adopted her, therefore I’m guessing adoption must have taken place from 1945-1948. The girl should have same father as my mother. My mother is alive today.
7. Natalya-Debranska : I am searching for my daughter who was born in Lviv, Ukraine, in November 1988 and was taken for adoption abroad. I know that they changed the date of birth and the country of birth of my daughter. There is no more information as in our country there is the confidentiality of adoption and all the data about adoption are kept secret.
Please‚ answer my message and tell me about the details you know about your adoption.
I think that the only method to find my daughter is DNA-test. I have made my DNA-test with Family Tree DNA and My Heritage. If you feel that we have something in common, you can make or upload, if you have some, your DNA-test with one of these companies. I hope to find my daughter so much.

15. KristiansenAug14 : mother - Jorun Annie Kristiansen, Aug 11, 1944
born - Andøya, Norway
I am his sister, Laila, who would like to let him know about his siblings and his mother. I also want him to know that if he is not interested in getting to know me or us, I wish him all the best in life and that his mother made this choice, the hardest choice of her life, only to give him a better future then what she could give him. I have nothing really to offer other than I just want to find him and know who he is because, just because!
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
