4. Shimonklein : We are looking for help locating the address or any information of an orphanage in Eger, Hungary.
We adopted our daughter in 2001 from Eger, Hungary. Last July 6th she had her 18th birthday and she asked to visit and donate to the orphanage where she spent the first two years of her life. 11 August 2017 we are planning to visit the town where she was born (Gyongyos ) and the orphanage in Eger, but we can’t find the address of the orphanage. Could you please help?
The original last name is Horvath and her name at birth was Monika. We know that she had older and younger siblings that may be in Hungary or adopted (maybe even to the USA). Our daughter would like to find out information about her background, heritage and possibly siblings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
5. Giacomo : An adoption agency for the Hungarian adoptee,, East-West Concepts, Inc., was used out of Princeton, New Jersey The adoptee’s documents were found in Eger, Hungary.. An attorney by the name of Dr. Sandor Fekete was used to help us when we arrived in Hungary. Our daughter was 6 1/2 when we adopted her. It was revealed that she had siblings, but were not in the orphanage with her...we don’t know very much else. She was given up by her grandmother at about 18 months old.
