15. OliviaRosemary : My current name is Olivia‚ because my adopted mother got the name of the person she was naming me after wrong. Deaconess Olivia turns out to be Deaconess OLOVIA. She was Deaconess of Dilkusha Methodist Girls’ Home. Dilkusha named me Rosemary—and my adopted mother decided to make that my primary middle name. My name on the letter informing my adopted mother that she had been approved to take me was Falochana with “Rosemary” in brackets. My surname at birth was Wati‚ and I believe I was born in Nadi‚ or possibly Suva‚ in Fiji.. I was in Dilkusha until February 1988. My birth mother’s name was Salochana or Salochini‚ and she was 13 at the time of my birth. She was sent to St Christopher’s Home. Or so I am told. I have no concrete or proven information regarding my birth father‚ not even a name‚…which is odd‚ considering my conception was allegedly incest and I’m pretty sure that means he should have been named and shamed.
