A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Argentina Who Chose To Be Featured
1. Cmprocto : I was adopted in Buenos Aires. A social worker named Paulina Garfunkel arranged the adoption. The midwife was Ernestina Ferrari. Paulina worked at a "Jewish food kitchen" for poor people, where I assume she periodically came in contact with young pregnant women who could not take care of their babies. She was also influential in the Jewish community and that allowed her to find mostly Jewish couples looking to adopt. My adoption took place 2 days after I was born. My biological mother hesitated for 2 days. She was 14 years old supposedly or at least very young.
2. Marisahaynes : i was born nov 7 1981 in buenos aires. my birth mothers name is nancy perraya, pardon the spelling. i was placed with a white couple who lived in argentina as missonaries durning that time. we moved to the states in 1984. dnt know much bout my birth mother just that she was a young house maid. would just like to know her, know my medical history ect. thank u for ur time

I was taken to live in New York and I don’t know any names or information regarding my biological family. I am told that I was born in a house and delivered by a midwife. I hope to find my biological parents or relatives. I want to at least know my family’s medical history.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
