That day‚ my grandmother gave birth to healthy twins – a boy and a girl – in the local hospital. Just hours later‚ a nurse told her the babies were being transferred to Šabac due to “precaution.” She was later told that the baby boy had “died on the way‚” but was given no documentation‚ no cause of death‚ and never saw the body.
