We do not know if the bio-mother’s name is her real name or an alias. She is listed as being aged 22 at the time of the birth and from Auckland. Through the Ancestry website we think we have identified Violet’s biological father as Richard Thomas Polglase (1874-1929). We have hit a dead-end with Violet’s biological mother however. Violet was adopted by members of the Salvation Army Church from Christchurch NZ‚ Francis Arthur Huston & Ellis Mary Butterick. We think Violet was adopted at around age 7 but we don’t know for sure.
