81. SarahPalmer : Thank you for reading this… I am looking for my birth mother. I was born in Butzbach Germany and my birth fathers name was Michael J Williams. I do not know what my birth mother’s name is. I was adopted by wonderful parents‚ and I have had a charmed life… They have not given me my adoption records because it makes them feel uncomfortable. I know that my birth mother named me Greit or something close and my adoptive parents had to go to court to change my birth certificate . I would very much love to meet my birth mother‚ whom I know must have loved me if she named me… There is always been a sense of missing something important throughout my life… I know that it is a relationship with her. I am on Ancestry and 23andMe genetic search engines. I found my birth father through that. My birth father‚ did not seem to be a very good man and has passed without any contact. As I have never felt an urge to find my birth father‚ it was not a great loss sadly. It feels odd saying that but there it is. My heart has yearned for a connection with my birth mother‚ since I was old enough to know that I was adopted. I hope this is helpful and leads to reunification…
