Mother who i’m trying to find (as well as father if possible) is Geraldine Nora Sykes - 1951 - I know she married in 1971 to Michael Davison but unsure if this is the father of Anthony or not. She lived at 22 brentfield way, penrith - unsure of if she is still in area, havent been able to find much else after the marriage, if she is still alive or had any other kids. Thanks

22. Shanni79 : My grandmother was visited by her birth son and she sent him away because she was afraid that her husband would find out she gave her first child up for adoption. She was about 15 or 16 when she had her son, sometime around 1967. I believe his name is Steven. I would like to contact him. My grandmother passed away in 2006 in California and her name is Alice Josephine Montague. Her birthday is 4/5/1941 and she was born in Belfast Ireland. She went to England to give her baby up for adoption and I am unaware of which particular county where she did this.

I believe he was a coach driver, and my mother a legal secretary. After my birth she moved to Broadstairs in Kent. I have no knowledge of my father, except he was married to someone else at the time of my birth. My mother had another daughter at home. My half sister, Irene, who was about 13 or 14 when I was born. I was told she died at the age of 21 due to an asthma attack. After my adoption, I was renamed as Susan Louise Wade.

My paternal grandparents still live in Branbury. We think my birth father had a brother named Anthony who they called "Sonny Boy". It also states on my birth certificate that my fathers father was also named Harry James Bolton and that he had something to do with turf but I think it had to do with a gambling establishment, not sure.
