His mother’s first name was Erika and his biological father was said to be an American soldier with the last name of Valenti. At the time of his adoption, his mother had another infant son by a different American serviceman. Jurgen was adopted in Stuttgart Germany on June 13, 1957 by my parents, Vernon Whittle & Ruth Talbott Whittle. My father was in the US Army stationed in Germany at the time.
