I was born in Ma’anshan, China (Anhui providence).
I was found on September 20, 2002.
I was found on Ma’anshan Ge Yang Road Xin Huo Welfare.
Some people walking by found me, called 110 emergency, and brought me to the Ma’anshan police station.
There was nothing else found with me.
I was adopted through Spence Chapin in June 2003 when I was 9 months old.
I do not know anything about my mother or father, and to be honest I don’t know what to expect, but I would like to learn about it. Now that I am 18 I can start searching on my own.

My birthday is certified as November 25th, 2002 on my birth certificate but because my biological parents and birthplace are unknown, there’s really no telling how true that is. My Chinese name was Lu Dong-Qi (though ’Lu’ was the surname given to all the children who came in around the same time as me). The Director of the institution, Zhang Yuxia, is listed as my guardian on my change of name and adoption document. Beyond this information, I know nothing else. I’m hoping to track down either my birth parents or a biological sibling.
