74. Sabena1 : My parents have 5 children‚ but when they first married in Haiti they had an older daughter named Emmanuela Yeye. She was born in Carrefour‚ Haiti on November 9‚ 1982‚ but was really sick so they took her to a separate hospital‚ General Hospital. My dad and family went to visit her and she was doing okay. Then‚ the next day my dad went again and they said she passed away‚ but never showed him the body. My parents were young and I believe they were taken advantage of because they didn’t have much.
My father remembers the doctors at General Hospital asking if he had the baby with a white woman. My mother was still at the previous hospital recovering from labor.
We believe she’s still alive and was probably sold. Any advice on how I can continue my search?
