I know very little about the first 9 months of my life but what has been shared is that I was initially abandoned by my biological mother (supposedly she left me at a bus stop) for an unknown period of time before I was taken in and placed in foster care but was too sick and malnourished and spent the majority of time directly before my adoption in the hospital (unfortunately I do not know the name of the hospital). The minimal information I know about my biological family comes from an original document (translated in English) that states my biological mother’s name (D. Ana Maria) and that I have 2 older siblings (no names given). It also states my maternal grandparents names (Adriao and Asteria). I have last names for my biological mother and maternal grandparents but choosing to write them in this message. It mentions that my biological mother was a single parent living in the county of Cachoeira and the district of Formiga. There is no known information on my alleged birth father aside from that he was married and denied any relation to me. Since being adopted I have lived in Northern California most all of my life. I am 35 years old and deeply yearn to be able to connect with any biological family members to help heal so many missing pieces in the beginning of my life’s journey.
